It's Saturday and I'm sitting here at work in an empty office listening to the new Vampire Weekend album. There's a foot of snow outside which means that we, the people of Columbus, Ohio, are in the midst of prime sledding season. Instead I'm window shopping my favorite websites for cute swimsuits. The day after graduation, Mexico here I come! So I just wanted to share how much I love x1000 this album. Vampire Weekend is my go-to band to listen to in my studio while I'm making artwork. Contra sounds like summer like how a freshly mowed lawn smells like summer.

I dusted off my drawing skills and made this line drawing for the title page of Tyler's website. It's everything that an animator would need...like lots of cups of coffee. The website is in the works, but here's a link to the blog for his thesis film, Nolan. Nolan looks an awful lot like Tyler, and Lilly, with the marigold bow, that's me!
