Moving on.

I spent thirteen years getting to know the people that I went to kindergarten through high school with. And despite facebook and cell phones it's only taken four years of college to lose touch with pretty much all of them. It doesn't bother me as much as it maybe should. College showed me who I am as a woman and an artist and most importantly was the means by which I met the best friend I'll ever have. He has my back, we make art together and finish each other's sentences. I can't even express how excited I am to move onward and upward into the world.

I enjoy the freshness of your blog. You are correct, the only time high school is important is during the years we are there. I met my best friend in high school 30 years ago. We are still happily married best friends. I hope your's is destined to be happy as well.
