Tyler and I had a pretty small wedding with his two best friends as groomsmen and our sisters Maggie & Heather as bridesmaids. We wanted to get our bridal party something special as a thank you for all of the time, travel, & patience they put into helping us get ready for our big day, and having just two bridesmaids was perfect for me because I was able to put extra time and love into their gifts!
I knew that I wanted give our sisters a bag filled with wedding day essentials but without it being too wedding-y you know? Things they would be able to use after the wedding that didn't scream bridesmaid! After not being able to find the style of bag I wanted (nothing too preppy or ornately monogrammed) I ended up designing these totes for the girls and for our moms to carry their makeup & accessories from home, to the hair salon, to the venue.
I love these getting-ready photos by Christa Kimble Photography. First we tried it this way...
...And quickly decided that HEM was less, well ... meh.
I filled the bridesmaid totes with all kinds of goodies: A ban.do drink kozy, body lotion, hair ties, flip flops, nail polish, a sequined clutch, travel sized toiletries, tissues, makeup remover, mints, & snacks (all from Target), sparkly hangers for their dresses, a colorful cotton robe, earrings to complete their outfits and a pretty Rifle Paper Co. card to say thanks for being my bridesmaid!
The initial tote bags are available in three sizes - They make for such a fun personal and reusable way to give & wrap a gift!
