Wednesday

Today Aunt Chris took me to an amazing garden in the Pacific Palisades.  There were butterflies, swans, lots of turtles, and even hummingbirds!  One hummingbird zipped over our heads and landed in its tiny little moss lined nest right under where we were standing.  He preferred that we leave.  This garden is also where a portion of Mahatma Gandhi's ashes are enshrined in a 1000 year old Chinese made tomb.  A lovely and interesting place to spend the afternoon.

Later we all walked to the downtown Palisades area, got ice cream, and did a little shopping.  Uncle Dom took us out for dinner at El Cholo, winner of Rachel Ray's award for the best taco of 2010.  LA has some darn good Mexican food!
